Father/Son Camp

Introduction & History

With the 2008 camps completed we are already looking forward to our camps next summer.  The summer of 2009 will mark the seventh summer for the Brian Gregory Basketball Camps at the University of Dayton.

 

This summer looks to be one of the best. We look forward to giving each camper a memorable experience while being coached by the tremendous staff and players of the Dayton Flyers Men's Basketball Team.

Father/Son Camp - June 13-14, 2009

Father/Son Camp Times

The Brian Gregory Father/Son Basketball camp will begin at 9:00AM (Registration) on Saturday and conclude at noon on Sunday with an award ceremony.

 

Check-In

All campers are asked to check-in at the at the dormitory on campus on Saturday, June 20.  Check-in begins at 9:00AM.  All campers must have the necessary paperwork on file before participating in camp (Click here for a list of camp forms).  During the check-in process, each camper will receive their rooming assignments and be asked for t-shirt sizes. T-shirts and camp balls will be distributed on Sunday at the award ceremony.

 

Father/Son Camp Tuition

The 2009 Brian Gregory Father/Son Basketball Camp cost $200.00 for each pair of fathers and sons.  Additional sons can accompany their father for an additional $75.00 per child.

Ages

The Father/Son Basketball Camp is open to all boys, ages 7-18 with their father. Fathers and Sons will be divided into one of two divisions based on the age of the child.

 

Facilities (List of Facilities)

The 2009 Brian Gregory Basketball Day Camps will use the Frericks Center Gymnasium, Collins Gymnasium and the newly constructed University of Dayton Men's Basketball on-campus Auxiliary Practice Facility.  In addition to these facilities, the RecPlex may be used for other, non-basketball functions.

 

Housing

All fathers and sons will room together on campus in one of the campus residence halls.  Housing assignments will be given at check-in on Saturday, June 20.

 

Meals & Camp Canteen

Camp tuition covers 3 meals during the camp plus an ice cream party on Saturday night. Meals are as follows:

    Saturday lunch: Camp Cookout

    Saturday dinner: Buffet at Kennedy Union

    Sunday breakfast:  Buffet at Kennedy Union

 

Camp Store

The Brian Gregory Basketball Camp will have a camp store which will feature exclusive Dayton Flyers Basketball merchandise including t-shirts, shorts, hats, Nike polo shirts and other Dayton Flyer apparel.

Arrival/Departure Information

All campers will report to the dormitory on Saturday morning before heading to the Frericks center to begin camp.  Please view the Interactive Campus Map or Printable Campus Map for additional information on the University of Dayton campus.

 

(Parking information will be outlined in the registration confirmation letter once the application has been processed)
