Introduction & History

With the 2008 camps completed we are already looking forward to our camps next summer.  The summer of 2009 will mark the seventh summer for the Brian Gregory Basketball Camps at the University of Dayton.

This summer looks to be one of the best. We look forward to giving each camper a memorable experience while being coached by the tremendous staff and players of the Dayton Flyers Men's Basketball Team.

Day Camp Times

Each of the Brian Gregory Basketball Day Camps run Monday through Thursday, 8:45AM until 4:00PM.  The doors open each morning at 8:00AM for campers to get additional shooting and skill work prior to camp.

Check-In

All campers must check-in at the Frericks Center Gymnasium on the first day of camp, Monday.  Check-in begins at 8:00AM.  All campers must have the necessary paperwork on file before participating in camp (Click here for a list of camp forms).  During the check-in process, each camper will receive their team assignments, their Nike Dayton Basketball Camp T-shirt and have the opportunity to purchase a meal card, "Camp Canteen Card".

Day Camp Tuition

The 2009 Brian Gregory Day Camps cost $220.00 per camper per week of camp.  (Payment Information)

Ages

The Brian Gregory Basketball Camps are open to all boys, ages 8-18. Campers are divided into leagues with other players in their age range.

Facilities (List of Facilities)

The 2009 Brian Gregory Basketball Day Camps will use the Frericks Center Gymnasium, Collins Gymnasium and the newly remodeled University of Dayton Men's Basketball on-campus Auxiliary Practice Facility.

Meals & Camp Canteen

Each day of camp will have a lunch break.  During the lunch break all campers have access to an on-site "canteen" which offers campers a wide variety of food, snacks and beverages for purchase.

Rather than having campers carry around cash to purchase lunch, the campers have the option of placing any denomination of money on a debit account card, a "Canteen Card".  The Canteen Card can be used daily to purchase food, drinks and snacks.

Camp Store

The Brian Gregory Basketball Camp will have a camp store which will feature exclusive Dayton Flyers Basketball merchandise including t-shirts, shorts, hats, Nike polo shirts and other Dayton Flyer apparel.

Arrival/Departure Information

All campers should be dropped off prior to the start of camp each day to make sure they are present for the first "Roll Call" (8:45 AM)where camp attendance will be taken.  Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Frericks Center on the campus of the University of Dayton.  Please view the Interactive Campus Map or Printable Campus Map.

Camp Format

Each camper is randomly assigned to a team in a division with players in a similar age range.  Campers will compete and be instructed with other members of their team.  Each team will be assigned a specific coach who will be the primary instructor for that specific team but all campers will be instructed from each coach in camp through fundamental and skill development stations.

Due to the number of campers at the Brian Gregory Basketball Camps, no "play with" requests will be accepted. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
